Christopher Otwell is an Associate Professor of Design and the Technical Director at University of Lynchburg. Select scenic designs include: Clue, Pride and Prejudice, You Can't Take it with You, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, The Liar, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, F’ing A, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Avenue Q, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Talented Tenth, Leading Ladies, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, as well as the United States professional premier of Palmer Park. Christopher has designed for several academic venues, as well as the Tibbits Opera House and JET theaters. He received his MFA in scenic design from Wayne State University, and has formerly taught at Randolph College.
